Hello! My name is Mrs. Standage and I am so excited to be teaching music at Eagle Elementary! I grew up in Waverly, Nebraska and believe that District 145 is a great community with very strong support for the arts and music education. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2016 with a degree in music education. I also recently finished my master's degree in music education. I am so thrilled to work in School District 145!
I am a saxophone and clarinet player, but I also love to play the guitar and piano! I have been playing instruments for over seventeen years and have had some amazing opportunities to travel around the world with different performing groups.
In my free time I love being outdoors! Fishing is one of my favorite things to do, and I go as often as I can. I also love riding horses and playing with my two dogs, Hank and Gus. My husband and I have cows at home, so they keep us very busy! My friends and family are very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them as well!
